A well respected and expanding company is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to add to their growing team in the King of Prussia, PA area. The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for all aspects of the monthly closing and reporting processes as well as creating and maintaining all work paper to support all general ledger accounts. The Senior Corporate Accountant will also perform technical accounting research and analysis to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines along with assisting the Corporate Controller with any special projects as requested. Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, Finance or related degree, CPA or MBA a plus; Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls; Entity accounting knowledge (general ledger, balance sheet, cash flow, income statement components); Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong Excel skills preferred (V?lookups, Pivot Tables, Etc.) - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Strong time management skills preferred - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Ability to meet deadlines - 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - Knowledgeable of ERP systems - Microsoft Excel experience preferred - Deep understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint - Microsoft Word experience desired - MS Outlook experience - Sound written and verbal communication skills - Great attention to detail - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment - Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
