**Job Summary:**

The primary purpose of the Senior Director, Integrated Media Planning is integrating business understanding with communications planning expertise to set the annual and long-term vision that establishes the foundation for our media plans. This individual will be accountable for the role of media in the overall marketing plan to support the brand marketing goals of driving site traffic, increasing visitation to stores yielding sales growth and building brand awareness & equity. The Senior Director, Integrated Media Planning will work with external agency resources in delivering effective media strategy, investment, and measurement to deliver strong ROAS and Lowe's brand KPIs. The Senior Director, Integrated Media Planning will be responsible for staying abreast of the changing media and technology landscape, including non-traditional media partnerships, and proactively educating the organization on the effects of these changes on our business. To accomplish this, the Senior Director, Integrated Media Planning is responsible for partnering with many internal teams (Brand Marketing, U.S. Digital, Consumer Insights, Analytics, IT) and external agency and media partners to lead and execute impactful programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Oversees media investment strategy, campaign creation, optimization and rigorous testing strategy for full-funnel, multi-platform marketing strategies aligned to business priorities across all audiences and product & service categories.

• Partners with Senior Director, Digital Media on campaign execution and optimizations while also leading the management of Lowe’s media AOR.

• Leads the business side inputs for cross channel measurement in partnership with agency and internal analytics teams.

Leads large and diverse external vendor and cross-functional partner teams - from media, to

creative, to advertising platforms to 3rd party ad tech support and measurement companies -

against a pre-defined scope of work and performance metrics; effectively prioritize vendor

resources; own the day-to-day relationship.

• Stays current with new advances in media, the competitive landscape, and vendor capabilities;

leverage that knowledge to influence current and future business plans and strategies; drive

media innovation, thought leadership, and best practice sharing throughout the organization.

• Leverage data tactics across channels to further bolster the data-informed portions of plans with

personalized messaging served during the right mindset.

• Works directly with Senior Directors, VPs, SVP and CMO to define marketing strategies and

activities and ensure they are integrated with other parts of the business and align with

corporate objectives.

• Selects and manages employees who report direct; as well as works cross functionally daily

across a highly complex matrix organization to deliver results; ultimately accountable for

delivering and executing upon the marketing strategy. Fosters a culture of collaboration and

teamwork that will enable achievement of the goals of the enterprise.

• Deepen and nurture relationships with media publishers and technology companies to enable

first-mover access, most competitive rates, and development of innovative programs that drive

our brand and business forward.

**Required Education/Experience:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other discipline with relevant

experience below

• 10+ years’ experience in Media Planning, Investment Strategy - Brand or Agency side

• Demonstrated success leading media planning teams to develop overall Communications Plans

that will deliver marketing goals with strategic audiences

• Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from data

• Excellent executive communication skills

• Solid understanding of media landscape with balance of traditional and emerging solutions

• Demonstrated understanding of the role of technology in execution of modern media tactics

**Preferred Education/Experience:**

• Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications

• 4+ years retail experience

• Experience building strategic media plans for growth audiences including multicultural
