Opportunity Overview

As part of HR Talent Management, the Leadership Development team is responsible for ensuring leaders are effective and ready for the future. We work as strategic partners with our HR Generalists and division leaders to impact the success of our firm's 5-Year Plan and achieving our 2020 Vision.

As a Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to partner with Sr. Leaders and across HR to diagnose and make recommendations to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our leadership development system. The ultimate aim is to support the growth and progressive contributions of our leader capabilities needed for future success and to shape the firm's approach to leadership development and the processes to enable it

Collaborate with HR colleagues and Sr. Leaders to diagnose current and future business needs in order to more effectively develop and progress key talent through mid to senior level roles.

* Assess existing leadership development system components such as: on-boarding, coaching, mentoring, job movement and leadership development programs and processes.

* Design, deploy and manage leadership development programs and the overall development system to better enable the firm's leadership pipeline.

Position Requirements

* Master's degree (or relevant experience) in Leadership Development, Psychology, Human Resources or related discipline (strongly preferred but not required)

* 6+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development field, including Learning Effectiveness

* 5+ years facilitating programs or meetings with executive audience

2+ years of relevant experience partnering with senior leaders to understand business needs and develop leadership development solutions.

* Strong program and project management skills; with ability to create charters, track expenses and execute on project plans

* Ability to coach and mentor others

* Experience managing vendor relationships

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong skills in strategic thinking, prioritizing work, project planning and execution, collaboration, influence, and adaptability.
