**Job Description Summary**


The Advanced Fighter Aircraft Programs are a key growth area within the GE Edison Works organization with revenue growing 4x over the next 5 years. This cross functional organization consists of program management, operations, engineering, supply chain, digital technology, and security who are partnering to deliver that growth. Come join the Digital Technology team who is critical to the success of these efforts!


As the Shop Floor Digital team leader, you will create strong working relationships across multiple business groups to define and execute the vision for the digital technology used to enable manufacturing, test, and laboratory shop floor operations. You will create a team of product owners that define, deploy, and manage the unique hardware and software technologies used in producing and inspecting aerospace and defense products. Key areas of focus will be standardizing digital products and processes to enable scalable growth in the use of the technologies.

**Roles and Responsibilities**


o Execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives through strong collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and priorities.


o Partners with business peers in defining individual product(s) strategies.


o Demonstrates understanding of key cross functional concepts that impact the company, business priorities, & organizational dynamics.


o Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change.


o Comprehends the products of their business and how the functional concepts can be applied to provide solutions.


o Learns the technologies and able to align technical applications for products.


o Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.


o Performs initial and final financial reviews and ensure ongoing budget tracking.


o Drive the adoption of Lean, Problem Solving, and Agile to improve the speed and quality of our deployments.


o Responsible for hiring and retaining talent for services, solutions, and product development execution. Leads with the understanding of the strength that diversity brings resulting from a team with varied experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives.


o Connects, inspires, and builds loyalty & commitment through inclusion.


o Grows talent depth and breadth in alignment with organizational needs.


**Required Qualifications**


o Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 6 years professional experience OR Associate degree with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School diploma with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience.


o Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management and Digital Technology.


NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience


**Eligibility Requirement** :

**Desired Characteristics**


o Experience with Manufacturing management processes and tools


o Experience working with manufacturing execution solutions and their design and deployment


o Experience with shop floor manufacturing machines and inspection technologies


o Experience with manufacturing shop floor automation technologies


o Experience leading teams


o Active US DOD Security Clearance


o Understanding and knowledge of DT Security control frameworks (i.e. NIST, ISO, etc.) as well regulatory requirements impacting DT systems (i.e. DFARS, ITAR, DoD/MoD, etc.)


o Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an?organization??


o Self-starter who collaborates well with others to solve problems


PMP, ScrumMaster, Security+, or related certifications
