The Opportunity:

Rodan and Fields is seeking an experienced Sr. Production Manager, Events to join the Events Team. This role will produce the broadcast elements for our virtual event platform including annual Convention, an engaging and immersive 4-day experience that ignites energy and builds enthusiasm for R+F products and tools, empowering our field of 200,000+ Independent Consultants to build their businesses. He/she will report to the Director of Events Marketing, Virtual and will work collaboratively with Marketing, Digital and Field teams to create and deliver a live and semi-live broadcast attendee experience and long-term virtual event strategy.

The key objective of this role is to deliver the R+F brand through the virtual event channels reaching an extensive attendee base online, and help them connect with and engage with the R+F brand. This person will help develop virtual events strategy, solutions, innovation and execution, focusing on successful live and semi-live virtual event broadcast programs. Top candidates must demonstrate strong video production experience, an emphasis on live event production, live television experience or live mainstage event production is encouraged. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload. Superb project management and communication skills, creative and strategic thinking, and a proven ability to execute are all integral to success.

Responsibilities:

Virtual Event Production Management Own the overall virtual event live and semi-live production from ideation through execution including:

* Initial conception, executive buy-off, content strategy, script development, speaker prep, set design, risk mediation, onsite execution and successful live-stream or broadcast.

* Work in close collaboration with content team to kick-off content development process, gaining executive alignment as needed, ensuring team is tracking towards compelling and on brand content messaging on schedule.

* Collaborate with creative design and brand marketing team to ensure brand representation through all virtual broadcast events. Ensure physical set design and digital graphics integrate brand look and feel representative of our modern, clean and sophisticated brand.

* Work with Sr. Manager, Virtual Platform to document all technical requirements with contingency plans in place to mediate live stream and video-on-demand risks.

* Manage third party production vendor to execute in accordance roles and responsibilities, identify risks, facilitate meeting scheduling, support scope of work and negotiating process and support overall partnership success.

* Own virtual event production budget, including negotiation as needed, detailed record of all quotes, invoice management, awareness on ROI goals, tracking actual spend, keeping detailed record of all quotes and change orders resulting in a final on-budget reconciliation.

* Support the broader events team to execute the onsite components of Virtual Convention including logistics that support a 15,000+ person live event and broadcast to an unlimited virtual audience.

Virtual Event Strategic Development:

* Support management in the preparation of post-event summaries; analyze trends and identify strategies including the development of executive level presentations to showcase overall success.

* Identify key success key performance indicators (KPIs) for the virtual environment, monitor and analyze metrics and drive towards the successful accomplishment of KPIs, and document recommendations towards future-state environments.

* Stay abreast of event market & consumer trends, competition and broadcast trends; proactively recommend innovative strategies fit for our channels that enhance results.

* Identify opportunities for increased ROI. Continually enhance the user experience, ensuring flawless execution that drives audience engagement, viewing and interactivity, virtual breakout sessions, and other engagement tactics.

Virtual Team Growth and Management:

* Oversee the development and ongoing management of onsite production schedules and runs of show, enforcing deliverable dates.

* Manage event execution team to ensure successful project management, onsite execution and logistical support is in place for all virtual production events.

* Ensure accurate expense and budget management across team including gathering quotes, tracking actual spend, invoice management, vendor payments, expense reporting, negotiation and final budget reconciliation.

* Oversee onsite production support of all broadcast components such as breakout filming, content approval, live studio filming, speaker preparation, live script change support, etc.

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience working as a digital event manager/producer within a creative agency or in-house team

* Master of multi-tasking, prioritization, and timelines and has a proven track record of complex event programs with varied stakeholders and representing various teams within the organization.
