The User Researcher is critical to LEGO Education’s ambition to have a positive and proven impact on learning outcomes.


**Core Responsibilities**


•Design, conduct, and oversee qualitative research studies and initiatives to inform and evaluate current and new features, products, and experiences


•Synthesize multiple inputs (reporting data, metrics, qualitative, and quantitative insights) to arrive at recommendations that deliver learner-focused outcomes for the team


•Partner with design, product, and marketing colleagues to understand business needs, and design appropriate research studies to generate user-focused insights


•Define and evaluate existing customer journeys, and user goals to understand the needs of our users and inform product roadmap


•Design and implement custom research to support the objectives of the business


•Collaborate to define intent, development, testing, and refinement of prototypes


•Collaborate to build user journeys and personas


•Design and implement a variety of research initiatives, including usability testing, concept tests, anecdotal studies, case studies, and efficacy studies


**Do you have what it takes**


THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTE IF YOU ARE LIVING IN US EAST COST TIME ZONE


•3 to 5 years’ experience working in similar or related fields ideally in the Education sector


•Teamwork, able to collaborate closely with other researchers, designers, content developer, and marketing to ensure research you deliver is integrated into every aspect of the product and provides a well-rounded view of our users


•Solid understanding of the best methods and systems for conducting research (mixed method study design, bias elimination strategies) in user experience, product design, or technology context


•Ability to synthesize multiple inputs (reporting data, metrics, qualitative, and quantitative insights) to arrive at recommendations that deliver user-focused outcomes for the team


•Experience integrating user research into product design practices


•Outstanding analytical skills and ability to process large amounts of data gathered throughout the research and distill the most relevant information.


•Extensive and proven experience using various research and testing methodologies, from generative to causal in an education setting


•In-depth knowledge of primary and secondary US and global education markets


•Ability to empathize deeply with teachers and learners and fiercely advocate from their perspective


•Strong familiarity with STEAM curriculum and pedagogy


• Language: Advanced English. Superb communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas
