We have an opportunity for a Supply Analyst to join our Cary, NC team. You will be responsible for supporting our Supply team with reporting KPIs on Pentair’s $1.5B supply base. Additionally, you will focus on commodity market analysis, extended forecasting, and coordination of process upgrades with Supply and Finance departments.

You will:

+ Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership.

+ Report to the Global Supply Process Excellence Leader and work close with our supply team in continuously improving our reporting methodologies in and supporting team with analysis.

+ Support various Supply Process Excellence initiatives, including risk management, Total Cost of Ownership model, Material Locks, Payment Terms, etc.

+ Support M&A related Supply integration.

+ Drive adoption of project management tools, spend analytics applications and processes across all segments and regions, improving usage and effectiveness of Supply standard work.

+ Support category team leaders in data gathering and cleansing, through RFP creation and analysis

+ Own and run RFx events across various category teams

+ Support BI developers in creation of data visualizations and reporting to support all aspects of the supply chain organization

+ Perform data enrichment and normalization to resolve requirement conflicts and gaps between various data sources and business entities

+ Ensure data quality and data validation specifications & standards and data cleansing/data scrubbing techniques adhered to consistently

+ Perform data profiling and data analysis on the source systems, complete data mappings from source to destination

+ Communicate and interact with project teams as well as internal and external clients

+ Work independently to define data normalization and schema integration as required by the project following table standards

Key Qualifications:

+ Have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, SCM, IS/IT, or related areas of study

+ Have 2+ years of related analytical experience with a global manufacturing company.

+ Excel, Access

+ Experience working with data models to produce reports and diagrams

+ Data analysis: excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Have proactive and strategic thinking and ability to align research with the business and innovate research output

+ Data visualization tools and skills – Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc. is a plus

+ Data modeling and design skills including physically building data models is a plus

+ eSourcing software experience is a plus

+ Experience in interacting with business analysts and developers to analyze the user requirements, functional specifications, and system specifications

+ A desire to learn about advanced data analysis techniques and keep abreast with the marketplace

+ Be an excellent communicator to various levels within the organization.

+ Be an extremely detailed oriented self-starter.

+ Thrive in an environment of continuous improvement.

+ Pay attention to details and have strong reporting skills.

+ Ability to listen and understand internal customer's expectations and requirements, anticipate needs, provide results with a high sense of urgency.
