**About this position:**
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Surgical Technologist II is to function as a team member during the preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure.
This position is represented by SEIU - UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
+ Current CPR certification
+ Less than two (2) years recent hospital experience in the capacity of a Surgical Technologist
+ Certification as a Surgical Technologist and completion of a Surgical Technologist Training course.

Demonstrates ability to serve as a preceptor and role model for new Surgical Technologist staff and Surgical Technologist students during their clinical rotations. Demonstrates ability to assume on call status as determined by department manager and according to department needs. Demonstrates ability to role model proficient intermediate or advanced technical skills and speciality skills.
