Position Summary

The System Development Lead located in Akron, OH will be responsible for Providing strong software developments that deliver new capabilities to BSA businesses. It includes instruction directing and checking the work of other system developer to ensure the systems delivered are reliably and meet the specification.

Responsibilities

* Lead project resources to on time delivery and maximum utilization

* Execute the project tasks and oversee the completion of deliverables, help in reducing risks and defining mitigation plans, and assist in resolving issues

* Coach other project team members on Bridgestone processes and methodology

* Design and deliver solutions that are simple, scalable and reliable

* Provide feedback on partner performance to manager

* Facilitate the design and delivery of a solution within the parameters set from destination architecture.

* Development of prototypes during development phase.

* Participate in the planning and coordination of releases to production

* Conduct or facilitate appropriate knowledge transfer with the relevant Run team members.

Qualifications

* This position requires a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience in designing and building software systems

* Extensive knowledge and experience of Ca Plex, AS400, and DB2

* Experience and knowledge on COBOL program in AS400 environment

* Knowledge and experience of object oriented software, interface design, SQL, web application and API development, ETL, and reporting tools

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Knowledge and experience on C#, .NET MVC, .NET Entity Framework, SQL Server, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, SSIS, SSRS

* Demonstrates understanding of ITIL framework, SDLC, and PMP-IT processes.

* Comfortable working in a team environment.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study; Advance degree is plus.
