Guidehouse is responsible for helpnig to lead technology operations for a global health initiative for our client at the Department of State. The team member serving in this role will be responsible for poviding oversight, strategic direction, issue escalation/management, and advocacy on behalf of several cross-functional teams whose team members provide services and subject matter expertise spanning cybersecurity, software quality assurance, user support, and engineering within our client's technology portfolio. An expert "dot-connector" who brings exceptional attention to detail, superior communication and relationship management skills, ability to support roadmapping development and execution, a willingness to "roll up their sleeves" and "look under the hood" to understand the work in an Agile technology environment will make this person a key member of our team at the Department of State.
The following skills/experience/knowledge are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ 5+ years’ of relevant experience
+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust
+ US Citizen
The following skills/experience/knowledge are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:
+ Active Secret Clearance preferred
+ Knowledge Preferred:
+ Experience supporting technology operations, ideally in a client-services environment
+ Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC)
+ Cybersecurity/RMF, ideally at the Department of State
+ Software quality assurance, particularly automated testing
+ User support, ideally with design/management
+ Hosting/could engineering processes and best practices
+ Team and people management
+ Strategy and Roadmapping
+ Business process analysis and mapping
+ Best practices in documentation and standard operating procedures
+ IT Project Management and Agile Project Management in relation to:
+ Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies
+ Familiarity with industry standard project management and workflow solutions (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
+ Skills Preferred:
+ Demonstrates abilities and success with working in IT Project Management, Product Development or related field
+ Demonstrates abilities to collaborate with teams, manage and deliver against assigned tasks, escalate risks, set agendas and milestones, and ensure timely delivery
+ Demonstrates abilities and success with working with clients to understand and document needs, translating those needs into work plans
+ Demonstrates abilities and success in research and data gathering based and compiling and presenting results in client-ready deliverables
+ Demonstrates abilities and success interfacing/liaising with technical teams to capture requirements, remove blocking issues, and escalate risks as necessary
+ Demonstrates abilities and success using presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to understand and solution for complex problems
+ Experience and knowledge of the Federal budget planning, justifications, and reporting cycle and associated requirements
