Job Description:

This role will perform general lab and test engineering support services to laboratory personnel. They will acquire and track government funded equipment and support general engineering development. Will be responsible for performing calibration of Wavefront Servers and scenarios for Satellite Constellation Simulators.

Essential Functions:

+ Perform general lab and Test Engineering support

+ Provide support services to lab personnel

+ Assemble and maintain test equipment

+ Support mobile testing environment

+ Perform calibrations for Wavefront Servers (WFS)

+ Generate scenarios for Satellite Constellation Simulators (SCS)

+ Acquire and Track government funded equipment

+ Some evenings and weekend work required

+ This role requires and active DOD Security Clearance (Interim clearance acceptable).

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Technologies, Computer Science or other Science/Engineering discipline and a minimum of 2 yrs of prior related experience or Grad Degree or equivalent with 0-2 years of related prior experience.

+ Experience with WFS and SCS

+ Experience ordering lab equipment.

+ Experience using MS Office.

Preferred Additional Skills:

+ Experience using ARIBA

+ Hands on experience with WFS and SCS equipment

+ Experience with GPS

+ Previous lab support experience

+ Experience with laboratory test equipment

+ Experience with documenting results and findings

+ Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills required.

+ Capable of working in a team environment with the ability to work independently at times with regular direction and guidance.

+ Able to work well with technical and non-technical staff is required.
